Over 100 pink blooms, on one plant, can be open at the same time.  In addition, it will bloom in a gallon pot in early spring when your customers are also plentiful.  Ht. 24". Full summer - autumn.
pallida (Pale Purple Coneflower)
This wonderful, underused mid-west native has large, showy, pale lavender flowers with thin petals that have a more relaxed look, and bloom on tall stems up to 5 feet.  Long lasting, drought tolerant, disease resistant and simply elegant beauty that reminds us that going back to basics can be quite refreshing.  Ht. 3-5'.  Full sun to part shade.  Early-midsummer.
'Pink Double Delight'
Pink, double, pompom-like flowers with an outside row of pink single petals.  Relatively short and compact double form with strong stems and abundant flowers.  24".  Mid to late summer.
'Profusion'
While visiting Future Plants, in Holland, this past July, I feasted my eyes upon profuse flowering cone flower I have ever seen.  Deep, lavender, rosy-pink, single flowers with upward facing petals on strong, extremely well branched, superbly contrasting, red stems.  As lovely as many of the new forms and colors are, it's wonderful to see such a refined plant in its natural color range.  And as a choice for Landscaping, mover over Magnus, there is one more magnanimous.

Large lavender purple flowers. Very attractive to butterflies and birds. 3-4’, Late summer - early autumn.

tennesseensis 'Rocky Top'
Flowers of rich, deep pink hues are widely spaced above narrow, medium green foliage that is somewhat shorter than the genus.  Sure to attract butterflies, the flower heads turn upwards and follow the sun.  Well branched and vigorous.  24 - 36", Summer - autumn.

dubium 'Baby Joe'  PP16112
Smaller and more compact form of Eupatorium.  Clusters of lavender-rose flowers on dark stems and bright green foliage.  A Future Plants introductions.  24-30".  Midsummer.
fistulosum 'Big Nate'
This is the first introduction from our Eupatorium breeding program and Big Nate commands an imposing presence, that is, if you like really big perennials!  Very large, light lavender-pink flower umbels measuring up to 18" across on robust, healthy, whorled foliage and dark, stiff stems that tower to a stately 10' tall.  Fistulosums are not usually considered to be hardy, but htis strain is quite so.  A very robust plant named after a very robust boy, my son, Nathan James Van Hoorn.  Ht. 10', Late summer.
maculatum ‘Gateway’
Huge red flower clusters (8 to 12”) on thick, wine-red stems. 6’, Summer - autumn.
m. 'Glenda' PPAF
Move over Baby Joe, there's a new girl in town ready to take on all corners of the vertically challenged.  Although about the same height and with much larger flower clusters, even larger than Eupatorium 'Gateway', on wonderfully contrasting, glossy, burgundy stems and deep green foliage.  To date, it has proven to be more disease resistant also.  Excellent choice for rain gardens.  A very special plant named after a very special lady, my mother, Glenda F. Van Hoorn, the Matriach of the Van Hoorn Family.  4-4.5', Late summer.
